Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491)

Application Process:

  1. Check Your Eligibility: Check if your skills and occupation is in the relevant occupation list for any of the skilled visas.
  2. Skill Assessment: Obtain a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for your occupation.
  3. Expression of Interest (EOI): Submit an EOI through the SkillSelect system.
  4. Points Threshold: Meet the points threshold based on age, English language proficiency, education, work experience, and nominated occupation.
  5. Invitation: Wait for an invitation to apply for the visa.
  6. Visa Application: Once you receive an invitation to apply for the visa, submit your visa application with the Department of Home Affairs.
